Dateline: Sunday, March 9, 1986. Boston continued their march through the USFL with an absolute domination of Arizona in Sun Devil Stadium. Matt Dunigan again showed why the Breakers were willing to throw multiple players and millions of dollars to acquire him in the offseason. He threw for another 4 touchdowns on the day.
John Carlson showed some promise for the future for Arizona, throwing for 2 touchdowns himself. But the Boston offense proved too much in the desert. They gained almost 500 yards on the day. With Dunigan throwing the ball and Jordan running for over 100 yards, Boston will bedifficult to beat.
Both teams play at home next week; Boston against a struggling Pittsburgh team and Arizona with a divisional battle against the Express.
