Dateline: Sunday, March 17, 2025. On a frigid Sunday afternoon in Boston, the Breakers continued to be white hot. They demolished the Pittsburgh Maulers behind 5 touchdown passes by their new star quarterback, Matt Dunigan. The Breakers added two rushing touchdowns and a fumble recovery.
The loss continues a miserable Maulers season. They remain the only winless team in the league, and have been outscored nearly two to one on the season. A lone bright spot has been rookie quarterback, Jim Karsatos. He threw four touchdowns in the game, but received almost no help. Pittsburgh will be smart to build around him for the future.
Boston heads to Las Vegas on Friday. Pittsburgh hosts Birmingham the next day.
