Dateline: Sunday, April 6, 1986. Las Vegas shocked Los Angeles in the desert late Sunday with a powerful running game. While Cunningham was again precise, he threw no touchdowns in the game. However, combined with Lavale Thomas, they ran for 170 yards and 4 touchdowns combined.
LA’s Frank Seurer complemented a decent Eric Dickerson game, but his three touchdown passes weren’t’ enough on the day to defeat the brusing run game of the Ace. Is this another of the Ace’s one off wins, or have they figured out a winning formula?
