Dateline: Monday, April 21, 1986. Houston continued their domination of San Antonio in the battle of Texas Monday night. Running back Lazarus, especially, had a big game, running for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jim Kelly took a back seat, throwing for only 193 yards and 2 touchdowns himself.
Gunslingers quarterback Rick Neuheisel followed up his bad game last week with an even worse one this week. he completed only 7 of 25 passes and threw four interceptions on the game. Some in the organization have said that Neuheisel might benefit from taking on a coaching role next year if the team gets rid of the coach.
Houston hosts Philadelphia. San Antonio goes to New Jersey.
