
Dateline: Saturday, May 3, 1986. Tampa Bay came back from a 10 point fourth quarter deficit with two touchdowns in less than three minutes to defeat Los Angeles in a shocker. Behind Gary Andersons 100 yard rushing performance with two touchdowns, the Bandits won in spite of their quarterback throwing for less than 150 yards.
Meanwhile, Frank Seurer did all he could to secure the win, throwing three touchdowns. However, he also threw two costly interceptions in the game that helped Tampa pull off the win. Eric Dickerson added 147 yards rushing in the game to take the league lead.
Tampa hosts New Orleans with a chance to rise to .500. Los Angeles takes on Denver at home with division lead on the line.
