Normally dynamic quarterback Randall Cunningham threw for only 156 yards and one touchdown. Their leading rusher gained only 63 yards on the ground. However, PR Marcus Bonner provided the difference with a 90 yard punt return for a touchdown.
Oakland got two touchdowns from its rushing game. However, their starting quarterback Fred Besana threw for only 139 yards and two interceptions. Both teams barely managed to break 300 yards on the day.
Las Vegas hosts Jacksonville. Oakland welcomes Los Angeles.
