Chicago Blitz 14, Birmingham Stallions 51

Dateline: Saturday May 24, 1986. Birmingham rode their dynamic duo of Cliff Stoudt and Ken Toler to a victory Saturday afternoon. Toler caught 7 balls for 147 yards and 4 touchdowns on the day. While enough to defeat rebuilding Chicago, the Stallions also added a fumble return for a touchdown along with a run by Joe Cribbs to really rub it in at the end.

Chicago quarterback Sandy Schwab struggled mightily in the game. He threw for 5 interceptions. He did throw the only offensive touchdown on the day for Chicago. The other score came on an Ed Smith interceptions return.

Chicago hosts Houston. Birmingham travels to New Orleans.
