Los Angeles Express 21, Pittsburgh Maulers 24

Dateline: Sunday, May 25, 1986. Pittsburgh treated their fans to a rare home win on Sunday afternoon by defeating the visiting Express. With league leading rusher Eric Dickerson in town, Pittsburgh running back Mike Rozier put on a show. He ran 34 times for 164 yards and 3 touchdowns. He added three catches for 24 yards.

Dickerson and the Express offense struggled to find footing on the afternoon. He gained only 82 yards on 19 carries with a long of 13 yards. None of the rush game produced a touchdown. Frank Seurer kept them in the game, but also threw three costly interceptions to seal the win for Pittsburgh.
