After trading touchdowns, Vegas went on a 31-0 run and led 38-7 at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Backup quarterback Sean Salisury finally showed some life to bring the Ace to the postseason in only their second year.
San Antonion scored 3 fourth quarter touchdowns including a pass from Neuheisel to Jerry Gordon. It was his second touchdown pass of the game after throwing 4 interceptions earlier. The loss puts the Gunslingers at 1-15 and favorites for the first pick in the draft.
Both teams are on the road next week. Las Vegas visits Arizona and San Antonio is at Michigan.
