
Dateline: Monday, April 7, 1986. Los Angeles capped off week 7 with a wild shootout win against Michigan on Monday night. The game went back and forth the entire time with Michigan taking the lead with only a minute and a half left. But, Frank Seurer led the Express down the field in less than a minute to take the lead again.
An interception on the final drive Hail Mary by Michigan sealed the game for Los Angeles. In the loss, young quarterback Jim Harbaugh threw only one touchown. The run game added two more. Novo Bojovic kicked 6 field goals, including the one that gave Michigan the lead late.
Michigan tries to get back to form against a tough Birmingham team. Los Angeles is up against division foe Denver.
