Dateline: Saturday, April 26, 2025. Houston fell to Philadelphia Saturday night. After winning three in a row and drawing even with Michigan for the division lead, they couldn’t pull off another win this week. They pulled within 2 points with about 2 minutes left, but couldn’t recover the ensuing onside kick and Philadelphia iced the last 2 minutes.
Chuck Fusina couldn’t match Jim Kelly’s 6 touchdowns, but he received some help from him run game in the form of a combined 185 yards between JL Williams and Kelvin Bryant. Bryant also scored twice in the game.
