Musings from The Pride

Volume 4, Issue 3

Good and Bad from April

Good

  • Bobby Hebert still has it. He came in for Jim Harbaugh due to wanting to give the young QB a rest and performed well.
  • Anthony Carter remains a viable deep threat.
  • The run game helps keep the team competitive.

Bad

  • 2 losses by 2 touchdowns hurts.
  • 1-3 in the month of April after a strong start isn’t good, but it’s made better by an 8-4 overall record
  • Hopefully Harbaugh isn’t hurt and they are just resting him

Remaining Schedule – May/June 1986

Week 14 – Philadelphia Stars
Week 15 – Oklahoma Outlaws
Week 16 – Bye
Week 17 – Las Vegas Ace
Week 18 – at Oklahoma Outlaws
Week 19 – San Antonio Gunslingers
Week 20 – Oakland Invaders

Our Thoughts

All of these games look winable. And with only one road game, the Cats could very easily win out, take the division title, and march into the playoffs. We agree with Joan. The future looks bright both this year and as long as Harbaugh is our quarterback. Get out there and support our Cats, Pride!
