San Antonio Gunslingers 19, Michigan Panthers 16

Dateline: Saturday, May 31, 1986. With nothing to play for, San Antonio waltzed into Michigan and came out with an ugly win. In spite of an offense that managed just over 250 yards total and 13 first downs, the Gunslingers pulled out the victory. Quarterback Rick Neuheisel, who has indicated at wanting a change in the offseason, completed only 9 passes.

Backup quarterback Bobby Hebert, who lost the starting job to the exciting young Jim Harbaugh, threw three interceptions, including a costly pick six in the third quarter. Michigan is left somewhat questioning after a late season swoon.

They have a chance to get back in the win column against Oakland at home next week.
