Finally able to sit down and record Dune Episode 3. We are finally through the strategizing part of the chess match and into the attack. What we all knew was bound to happen finally happens. Although, I must say, it happens in a way that surprised me a little bit. What do we always say about spoilers around here? If it’s entertaining, you can’t really spoil the plot.
Frank Herbert proves that in large measure here. He gave away the entire plot in the beginning of the book and stuck with that initial give away. To keep us interested, he laid a suspenseful story that kept you wondering exactly when it all might go down. Then, as if an assassination of two prominent characters weren’t enough to drive the plot, he drops two of the protagonists into a desert where they can easily get eaten by a huge worm if they don’t die of thirst or starvation. Plenty happening here!
Give it a listen and let me know what you think. What did I do right? What can be improved? I want to make this work and take constructive criticism well. With no additional delay, download and listen to Dune Episode 3. I can’t wait to hear what you think.
