We leave the series for now with Dune Episode 4. From what I’ve read, this is where the first movie ends. Therefore, I will be back this weekend with a Movie Vs. episode. Like I say in the episode, it’s been a while since we’ve done one of those. Never actually got one done for Jurassic Park or Frankenstein (put em on the schedule, I suppose). Anyway, this episode deals with the fallout of the hammer finally bashing its target.
We have it all here. Intrigue, obsessive creepy old guys, stages of grief, war and suicide attacks. It’s an awkward place to stop the book for now, but at least we have a bunch of cliffhangers to keep us waiting until the next series, all the way at the end of the year! Yikes! For now, enjoy The Burning God (a different type of war story) and Project Hail Mary, which also somehow finds itself in the middle of Reddit controversy.
Give it a listen and let me know what you think. What did I do right? What can be improved? I want to make this work and take constructive criticism well. With no additional delay, download and listen to Dune Episode 4. I can’t wait to hear what you think.
